A track more reliant on the energy and interplay of its members than any studio trickery. They stop short of being really noisy, but there's a definite aggression to the way they play. Greenwood's guitar and Skinner's drums are both propulsive, offering a suitable momentum and noise to back up Yorke's ranty vocal. His lyrics are as esoteric and impressionistic as ever, but you can't deny the energy and attitude in his delivery. It's short, spiky and Thom Yorke even sounds a little bit angry, a mood we haven't heard from him in too long. The trio have just recently released their first proper single, 'You Will Never Work In Television Again', and it's almost enough to make us forget about that other band two of its members spend so much time on. None have been quite as exciting as The Smile, the new band frontman Thom Yorke, guitarist Jonny Greenwood and Sons Of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner debuted at the virtual Glastonbury festival mid-last year.
